Delicious Chicken Chop Set Lunch

I still remember the chicken chop set lunch that we used to cook in the lab at our university. Wow! It’s so juicy, crunchy, aromatic and tasty. Now I like to share this with you so that you will enjoy and know that you can cook too.

Ingredients:
Drumstick
Chinese herbs powder
Pepper
Soy sauce
Salt
Flour
Cornstarch
Baking powder
Breadcrumb
Egg yolk
Cooking oil
Frozen French fries
Cucumber
Tomatoes

Step 1. Remove bone from drumstick. Pound the meat to make the chicken chop softer, flatter and bigger in size. Marinate it with salt, soy sauce, pepper and Chinese herbs powder.

Step 2. Mix the flour with cornstarch and baking powder on a plate; and dredge each chicken chop in the flour mixture. Then dredge it in egg yolk and lastly into the breadcrumb. Now the chicken chop look very big indeed and it will taste crunchy after frying later.

Step 3. Now, heat up the cooking oil. Deep fry the drumstick until golden brown. It will take about 10-15 minutes to get the juicy chicken chop. Avoid overcook because the meat will be too dry to eat then. Keep warm after frying.

Step 4. Now, fry the frozen French fries too. No need to defrost it and it will be more crunchy.

Step 5. Cut the cucumber and tomatoes into slices.

A great side dish with chicken chop is mushroom soup. You might want to try it too.

Ingredients:
Onion
Carrot
Celery
Butter
Canned mushroom
Flour
Salt
French toast
Garlic
Herbs

Step 1. Dice the onion, carrot and celery finely.

Step 2. Melt the butter in the pot. Then add in the finely chop onion, carrot and celery. Stir fry them until they are aromatic. Then add in water to a boil. Now turn down the heat and cook the soup with slow heat, until the onion, carrot and celery melted.

Step 3. Chop the mushroom finely. You can also left some bigger ones to bite with if you want. Add them into the soup and cook until they melted.

Step 4. Add in flour to thicken the soup.

Step 5. Add in salt to taste.

Step 6. When the soup is thick enough, put it to a boil then turn off the heat and cover up the pot. Set it aside.

Step 7. Cut the French toast and spread the butter on.

Step 8. Spread the fine garlic and herbs onto the butter side.

Step 9. Put it in the oven to make it crunchy.

Now, you can set up your chicken chop with French fries, sliced cucumber and tomatoes. And your side dish of mushroom soup with garlic bread. Do enjoy your meal with your friends and family.
